Oh sweetie i meant no offense ! I dont think you took it as offensive but just to clarify on my post, i think we all cross that "TMI" boundary and it's ok because it's something we're all experiencing !

This thread has been SO informative and i, for one, am SO thankful you posted this ! I can not wait to continue to follow your journey and i hope to see things progress for you !

I do believe that i feel people think they are crossing a TMI boundary when talking about sperm, or CM or other such things that others that are TTC consider perfectly natural. When we reach out to others, especially across cyberspace to other countries and regions, we feel that we say things that we might think are TMI, when they are, in reality, tota;;ly normal for THIS line of discussion :)

Now obviously i have GF's i talk to about this sort of thing, but i wouldn't walk up to a stranger and say "so can you tell me about your CM and CP during ovulation ?" but in this kind of forum, it's all relative and conclusive to the conversation, and in this format is totally normal !

you have done a wonderful thing here ! This thread is SO informative ! I too, hope i dont have to resort to IUI but i would so much rather do it at home, with my husband, than in a clinic with people who dont know me ! This thread is wonderful and informative and you've done a wonderful thing for people such as myself who are looking into this in the future :)

Thank you for everything you've done !

How was everyone's weekend?
Pink - Are you still POAS? When do you think AF might show up so you can move on to IUI #2?

AFM - My weekend was spent on the couch with DH watching movies and eating Gumbo. Nothing new on the TTC front, still waiting on AF and still contemplating on trying soy. I'm really excited about this cycle though. Probably almost as excited as my first one. My first cycle I just knew I was going to get pregnant that cycle (after all, the rest of my family is VERY fertile). I was heartbroken when AF showed so IUI #2 I didn't really think it would work, then it did. Just think, if this cycle works we can have Thanksgiving babies.

Pink - Lettings us down ? absolutely not !

I dont have anything fantastic to say, just that i feel you (and DH of course) should certainly do your best to maintain yourselves and your sanity through out all of this. I think taking a break and seeing how things go now might be a good idea. You can always go back to where you were with the medications, and i think a break and a chance do everyone some good now and again :)

This last month ive been sick, i believe we may have caught ovulation but of course we're gearing up for next month, and then i came down with a yeast infection... so between the yeast infection and the Metformin and the ruptured ear drum i still can't hear out of i feel like im a disaster.

At this point i feel the same way about the cycle. I just want to get it over and then move on. Unfortunately im at the opposite end of the spectrum just getting ready to gear up and see what we can do, but after the past 14 months another 6 just seems so ... long

Guen - ive heard good things about the soy. I kind of wish i had been more vigilante these past few months and done... i dunno, done more ? Done everything ? Done... something ?
*hug*

PinkSprinkles - You aren't letting anyone down. Those meds really do a number on your system. Honestly, I don't see how some women can do cycle after cycle with the meds but sometimes you can't avoid them. A cycle (or a few) without it is probably a good idea. Ive been reading up on Soy Iso and it seems like some women with PCOS respond better to Soy Iso than Clomid with less side effects. The most important thing is that you do what's right for you.
Big :hugs: hun.

Ariannda - Ouch, ruptured ear drum... Talk about getting it in spades. These cycles can seem never ending. I hear ya, I have years of bd'ing around O day but knowing DH is Azoo it's pretty much guaranteed AF will show up. If only we had kicked our rears in gear.

AF showed up 2 days early. I'm freaking out a little bit. We've had so long with it just being us and our menagerie... I just don't like change, no matter how needed and wanted. It's time to add a little furless child to the mix.
