how much would it cost to get a filling done, or to get a checkup and some antibiotics?

Ive got a bit of toothache and i think its either a filling needing done again or just a bit of infection that needs some AntiB's

Filling at an NHS Dentist is around £35 quite pricey

I had my 1st filling a few weeks ago I still get it free thank god

Are you already registered with an NHS dentist? If not, you may find it hard to get one...
