I'm worried my DR. was trying to get a hold of me yesterday to talk about my bloodwork... I hope it's nothing that will prevent surgery next week.

well the doctor couldn't find the cyst when he went in, so i don't really know whats happening now.

i feel a lot better now the pain isn't as bad but i'm sore when i sneeze or cough its sooo bad xx

My bloodwork - I heard back from my Dr. yesterday, apparently my white blood cell count is high. He wanted to know how I was feeling, I told him aside from the really bad pain I feel good. So the plan is to get a blood test next Tuesday and then it will be up to the surgeon to decide if it is too high for surgery or not.

My Dr did say that it might be high due to the pain; and I did some google research today and a couple things mentioned that the white blood cell count maybe high with a complex cyst. So now I'm feeling a little more optimistic than yesterday that next week will be okay. I'm nervous about getting a blood test the day before surgery, will they have the results processed in time? but that's what the doc told me to do.

Random - they couldnt find it thats weird whats going to happen now then are they going to re-scan you ?

lu-is - if they put the bloods through as an emergency they will have them back in time ok they did this when i had my mc as they thought it might be ectopic and the results were back in 3 hrs. good luck hope your bloods and surgery goes well xx

Oh boy.. I'm getting real nervous now.. I'll be leaving for the hospital soon.
I hope that the blood test from yesterday was good - I haven't heard anything from the surgeon so maybe it's all good?

It's done! yay! They were able to remove the cyst and also discovered a little bit of endometriosis trapped by my pelvis (weird.. I'm not sure what to make of that.. I'll have to ask the surgeon when we meet for post op sutff).

They used four incisions to get at it, unfortunately a bit more than I was hoping for but since everything went well that's okay.

I feel sore and tender, but the ovary pain is gone - I think the most uncomfortable part is from the CO2 they pumped into my abdomen I hope that will keep dissipating.

hi girls thats my op done got out of hospital last night

i just managed to get away with key hole but they had to turn one of the key hole cuts into a 2 inch cut to get it all out so im a bit sore

the cyst was growing inside the ovary so they couldn't get it apart and my tube was a complete mess so they just removed the whole left side ive to see my consultant again in 3 months so no ttc for me just now

Glad you are out of the hospital, I'm sorry to hear that they had to remove the left side.

Yay!!! That's great!

I have my follow up appointment on April 27, I'm looking forward to getting more details on the cyst and the endometriosis they found as well. (yikes)

I've been feeling pretty good lately. Once and awhile I get some ovary pain but it's so much better than before. I'm still waiting for two stiches to disolve.

How are you feeling Kaboom?

Yeah im great thanks lu-is my stitches all dissolved between weds and fri last week and im back to work now

Thanks Kaboom! All of the stiches but the ones in my belly button have disolved, and I feel better than I have in a long time lately.
I have energy again and I don't feel moody/short tempered because of constant pain like before the surgery. hooray!

ive been really hormonal the last couple of weeks crying like a big baby over the littlest of things think the ovary being removed may have messed up my hormones
