I must not have lived deep enough south than because living in VA they all called it soda.^^ I call soda 'pop' too!! It's a midwest thing here in the US to call it pop. Southerners and the west coast seem to use 'soda'.
It seems like the UK girls are obsessed with chocolate. I can't even remember the last time I ate chocolate.![]()
No! In the South we call it Coke. No matter which one.![]()
"You want a coke?"
"Sure."
"Which one?"
"I'll have a Dr. Pepper."
I've never heard anyone say soda pop. The only other thing I see is on restaurant menus, they're called "soft drinks".
Also, American chocolate is no good. It's like brown wax, like another poster said. British chocolate is sooooo creamy and sweet and yummy! You should try to find some Cadbury's dairy milk. Do you have a World Market near where you live? They carry foods from all over, imported.
I'm pretty sure most people have tried cadbury chocolate. Every easter that stuff is all over the place. It's not that spectacular compared to anything else really. Chocolate is chocolate to me.
