Love it! I'm making my son an apron (since he loves to cook), I think I'll try some sock monkeys for my little ones.

im thinking about making the body scrubs and maybe some candles... but I am also thinking about making magnets and coasters! They are really really cute and easy!

Hello, A question for the sweetie vodka making ladies! :flower: ...

If I want to give some as pressies on Xmas day, when is the latest I can make it?

I wont be able to make any till 22nd as travelling - will that be too late? I'll be really sad if its too late!! Thanks :haha:

if anyone has Home Bargains near them i went in today and they have jam jar type jars for preserving food stuff for £1.50 and they have beautiful gift pots of various sizes (the type with lids on a hinge like bodyshop do) ranging from £2.50 upwards and these had gift ribbons and tags where you could write personalised messages

Thanks for posting this!! I was searching everywhere for jam jars and never thought of Home bargains. xxx

Can everyone who has my truffle recipe please let me know how they got on, post pics if possible!

Oh and for snowman soup makers, asda have their candy canes in. 12 for £1. Sainsbury's have them too but they're £2 in there. (I'm cheap - can you tell!?)

99p for 15 in the 99p shop :)

I was impatient and bought my candycanes on ebay and because they messed up and only set me one box of 12 they sent me a further 24, so I have candycanes coming out my ears lol

Yep, £2 for 12 in Sainsbury's.
£1 for 12 in asda (though asda ones are green/red/white striped, but I'm not fussy )

I'm well on my way now :) got 4 photoframes from poundshop and gonna put in an uptodate pic of the girls for the grandparents and also got pack of werthers for vodka for my BIL

Trying to find a load of gold choc coins for cheap but the bags have been really small so I resent paying for about 8 bags at a £1 each just to do 2 pots of gold :nope: will see if can get cheaper and if not will use artistic licence and put shredded tissue paper at bottom of pot to bulk it up I suppose

How many coins do you need for a jar?

Just had a look for you ladies and they sell gold chocolate coins on ebay but I don't know want quantity you are after. But type in chocolate gold coins and loads will come up. Hope this is of some help.

As for my candycanes, neither me or hubby eat them so will have to make extra snowman soups lol! Or start my own little shop :haha:
