They always have long names- William Arthur Philip Louis, Henry Charles Albert David, so they can stick a few nods to the family in there!

ETA: It's pretty standard to be admitted into hospital with hyperemesis

I think you can end up in hospital if really dehydrated from morning sickness, bet their just being cautious though! She'll be in for any little twinge i reckon as she is part of such an important couple! - can u imagine if her doc said all was fine then something happened? They are just covering themselves I bet. X

Well I'm 18 and a bit weeks pregnant, due 1st May, so I'd say she's due around early/mid july?

I think if it is a girl she would be called Elizabeth Diana, considering conceived in Elizabeth's jubilee year but also that is Kate's middle name and her Mum's too, so quite a nice tradition from both both sides. Expect Elizabeth to feature in there some where.

Exciting news, I will enjoy watching how Kate dresses her bump, she always looks fab, she really will be a yummy mummy!

I doubt very much if its a girl it will be called Diana, don't think The Queen would it very much! I don't envy Kate though, its hard enough being pregnant /a new mum without the entire world watching your every move.

I saw this bless her I had hyperemesis with both of my pregnancies and spent majority of both of them in hospital. They're gonna make great parents

I feel so sorry for her. She is going to be harassed every single day of her pregnancy and not a single secret of it is going to be a secret. I guess she realizes what she has signed up to but I personally couldn't deal with that.

It has.......and apparently she's in hospital with morning sickness i'm no pregnancy expert but all the ladies on here manage with a touch of morning sickness without a 'stay in hospital' ......

OH :S is she actually ill? I've never heard of morning sickness being that severe before..... shows how much I know

I'm surprised at a woman on here being so ignorant about severe nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. The condition is called Hyperemesis and it's very real and very awful. I've suffered it myself with both my pregnancies and it's not 'just a bit of morning sickness' it's an illness that can affect any woman during their pregnancy particularly the first trimester. It can cause severe dehydration and malnutrition due to the fact you are unable to keep anything down. The Duchess is obviously being fed intravenously hence why she is in hospital. She will be suffering terribly. You are lucky you have suffered from it and I hope you never do.
