Does anybody else have "noisy" toys from the Early Learning Centre and think they sound awful?
Because Andrew has hearing problems, we have lots of toys that play sounds & make noises (we have to cover all pitches to see how he reacts!). He's got a Vtech walker, Vtech rocket & Vtech sit-to-stand dancing bear thingie - these all play tunes, they are repetitive but the tones are crisp & clear.
He also has the ELC "my first shop" and "my first music centre" which supposedly have "inspiring musical sounds" - but the sounds they play are very raucous, harsh, almost metallic, NOT pleasant at all.
Anybody else find this? I had thought it was just the music centre and maybe we had a faulty one, but we got the shop/till toy this weekend from a charity shop and it's just as bad.
