Eloping and gifts?

Me and my OH are planning on eloping to Gretna green next year with Izzy in tow! lol. We are going to have a party when we get back. Someone asked me where we are going to sign up for for gifts, but i wasnt expecting to receive presents as people arent coming to the wedding? What do u think?

You might get some as some people still want to buy presents.

Some of my clients at my work have already given me cards with vouchers etc incase they don't see me. If you hand out gift list then it's assuming that the person will give you a present. It's a tricky one.

By all means set up a gift list incase anyone asks what you would like and if you have one then you can just give them details. I wouldn't hand out the details to people unless they ask or suggest anything regarding presents
