Ergh! Transaction taken twice!

went to Iceland today and I put my card in the machine and accidentally pulled it out to quickly - the woman assured me the money was NOT taken so i redid the payment

just checked my bank and they have took the money twice rang my bank and got to wait 5 days to see what Iceland do or get them to fax my bank.

How annoying! anyone had this happen to you? did you get your money back?

Did the lady not give you there void recipt? That prints out?

Could you go back tomorrow and ask to see the manager when they cashed up there till should gave been up. Hope you get your money back quick

just checked my receipt it shows the transaction going through twice! :/

Go back to Iceland for a refund. Take the card you paid with. And the receipts

If they refuse tell the bank it is an unauthorised payment, they are obliged to give you the money back pending investigation. But u have to try Iceland first. Tbh they should just do it and it shouldn't get that far but just incase
