Feb IUI here I come

Hi! I hope to be starting IUI with either clomid or injections in feb cycle. Depends on what we decide with dr on Thursday. DH is suddenly back peddling on IUI... He is so scared of multiples... But Dr thinks iui and injectibles is the way to go. I'm inclined to side with the medical professional on this one.
I have endometriosis that was just cleared out and surgery to remove a uterine septum. May I join you guys?

We are doing IUI with clomid because my progesterone was low plus Dh has poor morphology and motility - count was ok.

Purple sparkle I had a little break over Xmas frm the site, it was good to clear my head and focus on other things for a while then jan hit and the whole fertility was a priority again!! If I remember rightly r u also under coventry NHS?

yeah i had a bit of a break over the holidays too waiting for af to arrive does help to have a break. I am at Cov/warks too, toke ages to collect my meds on fri, the traffic into the hospital car park is horrendous

The traffic is a mare there! And the parking costs lol. Im off to collect meds tomorrow. If you ever fancy meeting for a coffee give me a shout. xx

it is expensive isn't it i have to travel from leam aswell. that would be good will let you know when i'm next there

Dr told me to try 1 or 2 months of clomid and trying naturally first. but the clomid is new for me, anyone have any advise about clomid and cm? does it dry it up? I was just curious what women did to combat that- pre seed? mucinex?

i used pre-seed, but hubby found that when i used the recommended amount he found it harder to finish because it was too wet, so we ended up just using a little as a lube, but it wasnt succesful, it did dry me up though, wish i would have tried mucinex,

i did clomid for 6 months, my cm didn't really dry up but tried preseed for couple months it did help with bding.

i will be starting Norethisterone tablets on sun to get my period started and get the iui bowl rolling.

im trying to relax myself as much as possible to get my body prepared

I think the is coming today or tomorrow, I can just feel it! That means I will be calling my doctor any day to find out when I start the clomid. Good luck to everyone! Let's all keep each other posted!

The TWW is waaaaaaaayyyyyy too long. I'm scheduled for my pregnancy test on Thursday, Feb 16th.

Purplesparkle I've just finished northisterone so hoping for a weekend period. Thats the only time I think i will ever hope for my period! Glad you are getting started now.

So we will be underway with iui again in a couple of weeks.

Unfortunatrely I'm being made redundant at the mo which made me consider putting treatment on hold but in my heart I want to carry on - job or no job!

good luck same hear normally hate it when af comes. are you having iui with clomid?

I was made redundant almost a year ago i didn't give up still hard as concieving is all i think about with so much time on your hands. been trying to keep busy with loads of hobbies. thought the stress of not having a job would make it easier to have a baby. I would keep going with this cycle and see how you feel after.

watched kate silverton on Lorraine this morning, she had 4 failed IVF's then gave up kept busy with her wedding and moving house then concieved naturally! really gives me hope! listening to this made me feel more positive and i didn't get upset when my aunt rang to say my cousin has just had a baby boy.

We may have already figured this out on another thread, but I can't remember...we're the same...I had my IUI on Feb. 2 and I have my pg test on the 16th also. Only difference is I'm on Follistim injections. I can't believe it's only 5 DPO right now! Someone shoot me already!
