Feb IUI here I come

@Phonixrose - Fingers crossed for us! Hopefully Feb 16th is our lucky day but we both know we're going to test before that. lol! How are you feeling?

Oh boy, what am I not feeling at the moment...hopeful, anxious, desperate, despair, then hopeful again. I absolutely hate the 2ww! I'm pretty sure I could feel a dull ache in my uterus on Sunday night as I was trying to fall asleep and a little yesterday but at 3/4 DPO I think it's a little soon for symptom spotting. It's the same feeling I get before AF shows up and they say when you're pg it can feel like AF is coming but earlier, but again I definitely think it's way to early. Maybe it's just left over side effects from the meds? Plus my boobs have been sore since 1 dpIUI. Mine never get sore before AF. Maybe 1-2 times a year, so I don't know what's up with that. It has to be one of the meds. I think it's a SE of Follistim but I stopped that on cd11, unless it's withdrawal from that? I've also had a trigger before and never gotten sore. I dunno, sometimes I think I'm going nuts!

I agree, I do think it's still early for any symptoms. I think a lot of what I'm feeling right now are side effects of medication. I'm hungry all the time. I could sleep all day. Pinching sensation on my right side. I was nauseaus last night and the night before.

I'm just trying to keep busy but it's hard. I'm trying to research my next smartphone choice (android vs iphone) ... I thought that would distract me ... nope, I always end up on BNB. lol!

MrsCompass...haha! Same here, I can't stay off of BnB.

and P.S. iPHONE!!!!!!!!!!! My sis got an Android and she wishes she had gotten an iphone. Apparently the screen works with pressure, instead of however the iphone works, body electricity or something. So, it's a lot harder to press exactly what she wants and she gets very annoyed with it.

Thanks for your input on the phone! See .. this is why I love this site, you can even get information on non-ttc related items. lol ...

I think I will just bite the bullet and get the iphone. I was leaning towards an android because it would be cheaper. With all the TTC expense, I feel guilty about spending more money. I'm trying to cut cost on wherever I can ... lol.

So, is it, Feb 16th yet? LOL!

LMFAO! I know right. It's like when you're younger and on a car ride and you would ask your parents...are we there yet, are we there yet...?

I know what you mean by not spending money, but in theory, you'll have the phone for at least 2 years, so you should make sure you like it. Maybe you should go to a store and play with them, get a feel for what you like.

Mrs Compass and Phoenixrose, I just want to wish you both luck! I can't imagine the TWW after the procedure! I will be in the same boat soon! Going to the FS Thursday and they're going to give me instructions on how to start my meds! Hope February is everyones month!

Yay! You get to start your meds soon! Which ones are you going to take?

That's exciting, micsor! Waiting to hear about your meds, too. We'll be cheering you on :happydance:

Thanks! I will be taking clomid plus a trigger shot before procedure, and then I think progestrone suppositories. I will find out more tomorrow!

Fingers crossed for all of us!

had iui #2 this am.. all crampy this afternoon. did an hcg trigger monday so i am all sleepy and into sweets... just sort of out of sorts at work. on the way to the docs i kept feeling rt back pain and rt pelvic cramping. i know that is the side with the largest follicle.. curious if that was it ovulating. may play with the ultrasound when there are fewer people around later

I started clomid on feb 6th for 5 days. Next appt and US is on 2/14. Good luck to all you ladies. :dust: for all.

@phoenixrose: 6days left to go. I think I'm going to test on dpo 12, that's if AF doesnt find me then. I had brown spotting when I wiped last night (sorry if tmi), but I know that could also be a good sign. But last cycle I had the same spotting at dpo 10. So, it could be both ways.

I have been craving some crazy stuff like, liver!!!! I hate liver but apparently not anymore! I don't eat breakfast but as soon as I open my eyes in the morning, I must eat! Preferably liver!!!! I do think this is side effects of the trigger shot.

@drsquid: good luck! I hope this is the month for all of us.

@MrsCompass: how odd that you're craving liver! You just randomly woke up one morning and thought "I could really go for some liver!"? LOL!

I've also noticed a few things but I think I'm grasping at straws. I'm a little hungrier. Yesterday afternoon while eating lunch I suddenly started feeling like I was coming down with something. Then a few hours later I feel like a heavy pressure/crampy feeling in my lower abdomen. It felt like before AF comes or a UTI, and it lasted for hours. Now this morning I don't feel it. To put my mind at ease about a possible UTI though I'm going to go get the test strips today. I really hope I can hold out until at least day 12. I don't want to test too early, get a BFN and then try to tell myself that it's still possible since I tested too early. I also feel more afraid to test this cycle then past cycles. I think it's because I have so much hope for this cycle and I don't want to see that hope crash and burn.

I went to my FS yesterday, and they put me on 100 mg of clomid for 5 days starting yesterday. I have to go on the 16th for an ultra sound and blood work, and they'll let me know when I have to do the trigger. Just hoping I don't get any side effects!

Misor I dont have any side effects at all, a lil blurry eyes, but nothing like they say. I'm only on 50mg though.

CryHer, glad you didn't get any side effects. Today will be day 3 of taking it, and I haven't had any side effects, so hopefully I'm ok. You're only a couple of days ahead of me! We'll have to keep each other posted! Good Luck!

I'm done taking clomid, I noticed toward the end I got hot flashes. lol. I'm like, isnt this menopause?? hahah

heh so i decided t o be paranoid this time and not work out.. but i went to a social distortion concert last night and spent an hour and a half crushed against a barricade.. hrm ..

Hi Ladies! I have been super busy lately, so I haven't been posting, but I have been following this thread! I am hoping that all of us have good luck this month!
I finished taking my Clomid (100) mg on the 10th. I go in for my second HSG on Wednesday. Then, I just have to wait for my LH surge to go in for my IUI. According to FF, I should ovulate between the 15th and the 20th, and I usually ovulate on one of the last days that FF predicts it. I am really afraid of two things: 1. That I am going to ovualte early and it is going to be the day of or after my HSG (which is unlikely, but my irrational, worry about everything attitude is kicking in) and/or 2. That I will have my LH surge during the President's Day weekend when the doctor's office will be closed. Or should I fake the LH surge early and schedule my IUI for Saturday? But then what if I have my surge later than that? Would I go in for my IUI on Tuesday even if I get my surge on Sunday? Will it be worth it. I am such a worry wart! I really hate all this ltttc stuff, especially since everything has to be timed perfectly. And if you miss the timing, you have to wait another month to even have a chance to conceive again. That whole month wait seems sooo long!

Sorry, my post kind of turned into a rant, but I really had to get that out!
