February bfps??

Scarlett, no quiet morning/day for me. I had to work 8 hours and had an hour each way to drop ds off and pick him up.

Rose, being sick at work really sucks! Glad you get Monday off though! And YAY for scan date!!

So I've made it through the day with no AF. So either my LP has gone back to 12 days or AF won't come. Fx it's the second option but I am doubtful. I too was feeling nauseous at work today. It started after I had my usual coffee and has stuck around since.

Oh no boo BabyDoll to such a long day but YAY for missing AF. When will you test again?

Sorry to hear you've been sick Rose that's rubbish. Do people at your work know?

I'm so tired and desperate to go home today!!!!

Sorry you've been feeling poorly rose. :hugs:

My MS is getting a little worse but so far haven't had the need to throw up.....I really hope that doesn't happen in the next few weeks or that I can just avoid the throwing up part. It's not considered good practice for teachers to leave their students unattended in the classroom. lol

Babydoll - that's awful that you've been sick all day! but great news that AF hasn't shown yet! When are you testing!?

Thanks ladies. Nobody at work knows yet. My boss is on holiday next week and I didn't want to ruin his holiday by telling him before he goes :haha:

Ooh baby doll keeping everything crossed for you!!

Angel hopefully you won't be sick. I am not sick often - I just feel sick lots of the time.

I woke up to a bit of spotting this morning and it's getting heavier so I'm out. Onto cycle #6 for me.

Ohh baby doll sorry to hear that :hugs: but good LP went back to 12 days.

Haha Rose hope they take the news well and aren't funny with you.

Angel, I wasn't sick this time at all just nauseous all the time.

I should have finished work at 4 and didn't finish til 10pm last night. I'm so tired today!

At least it's the weekend!

Thanks Rose and Scarlett. I had my pity party yesterday and today I am ready for this next cycle. Thinking of going to the doctor to see if my hormones are all within normal for TTC. I'm thinking maybe my thyroid is out or something. I'd just prefer to make sure there's no underlying issue instead of waiting another 6 months to find out.

Oh I hate days like that Scarlett. You look forward to finishing at one time and then find out you have to stay back a few hours. Hopefully your having a relaxing weekend.

:hugs: babydoll

Yeah, I'm not really sick just nauseous a lot yesterday and today. Food helps, but I'm not hungry. Everything sounds gross. :( This is really difficult. And making my husband and sister concerned becaus I don't want to eat anything.

That's really normal Angel. You might find it develops in to worse nausea and sickness in the next week or two. I struggle with foods still now - I am managing to eat enough thank goodness as if I didn't, I would feel even worse. I have to make sure I eat regularly to keep my stomach topped up, otherwise I feel really sick.
While you're not sick, try some plain foods such as toast, pasta, yoghurt etc see if you can eat them without feeling sick, as that will really help you if you do get morning sickness.

Last time crisps really helped me but this time I don't really have anything in particular that helps. I have found that if I have a large, plainish lunch such as a baguette, chicken and chips, jacket potato etc then I feel better for
Most of the afternoon. But by 5pm I feel awful and it doesn't help that I don't finish work until 6.15 and then have to get DS and drive home so we don't get to eat until 8pm ish. By then I feel so sick

BabyDoll :hugs: defo go and see your Dr, and hopefully it will be all ok and just put your mind at rest but yes better to know sooner rather than later. With Orla we were trying for a year before I finally realised there were problems and it was gutting thinking that the previous year was for nothing!

Angel, defo what Rose said! Eat little and often, plain food or basically whatever you fancy - even if it's naughty! I craved carbs and fizzy sweets, it's only since getting into the second trimester I've been able to eat healthily!

Rose, hope you feel better soon! Sorry you must have already said, but when is your scan?

Got my 20 week scan on Monday and feeling nervous but excited about it!

Thanks ladies!! I've been feeling okay all weekend and yesterday. But still not hungry. The only thing I even seem remotely interested in is taco salad. LoL So I've had that a few times. And then yesterday I actually ate taco salad for lunch and had pulled pork and a salad for dinner- amazing how much I ate. lol.

Rose - I hope you feel better soon. :hugs:

Scarlett - Can't wait to hear about your 20w scan!! Will you find out the sex at that scan?

I had my 8w appointment yesterday. Bean is measuring at 8w+3 (I was 8w+1 so a little ahead, yay!) and OMG it actually is beginning to look like a baby! I could clearly see the heart beating this time, and I COULD HEAR IT! I will admit I came very close to crying. Steady, strong heartbeat at 166. This is beginning to actually feel real. I feel so reassured.

That's lovely Angel :)

Scarlett, my scan is next Friday. Hope your scan goes well!

Happy 11 weeks Rose! And roll on next week for both of us! Have you told DS yet?

That's brilliant news Angel, yes it's amazing at 8 wks how they actually look like a baby isn't it?! I'd say taco salad sounds a lot more healthy than what I was eating in first tri :haha:

They won't tell you gender at the scan where I live, so I don't know if we'll pay and have a private one and find out or not. I loved not knowing with Orla, but she's desperate for a sister and that worries me a little.

I had my last Wednesday Zumba class last night as next week I start pregnancy yoga and I'm really looking forward to having some space and time to think about this new baby as often things are so mental with DD I forget I'm pregnant again!

Was trying to think about pushchairs yesterday, really don't know what to do about getting a double or not...

BabyDoll, how are you? Did you make a Dr appt?

Thanks Scarlett :) I remember seeing that your ticket was a lime, and thinking it would be forever before I was there! It's weird as I do feel sick and tired, and I can feel that my lower tummy is getting harder and more cramped, but I often forget I'm pregnant too. Well not forget but.. Get distracted by other things! I think this pregnancy is really going to creep up on me as I'm due before Xmas - last time I kept thinking oh it's ages I have xmas my birthday etc first - but this time it's just going to be December before I know it! I suppose it's a good thing as it seems to be going by quite quickly.

I am really having trouble sleeping at the moment. Constant toilet trips plus Back ache and feeling generally uncomfortable is making it impossible to feel refreshed in the morning. I'm thinking we probably need a new mattress. Hopefully next month we will be able to afford one, but i would quite like to save a bit more money and get a new king size bed too, as we only have a standard double at the moment and I think I would probably sleep better if I was further away from bashing in to DH :haha:

DS already knows, he had been asking for a sibling for ages so we told him straight away. I was excited and he's quite mature so it's been fun asking him to keep the secret :haha: he has told my in laws but other than that he's been really good in not saying anything. He talks about the baby regularly, it's nice to get him prepared.

I'm not getting a double buggy because DS will be nearly 4 when baby arrives and he barely uses a buggy now anyway. my SIL has a double I candy which is nice, and a friend has a Phil & teds which I also like.

I know what you mean about it creeping up on you, before I know it I'll be halfway - it defo goes quicker when you have a toddler to distract you.

Back ache isn't fun, could you get a pregnancy pillow to help tide you over before you get a new bed? Fingers crossed you can do the king size!

That's really sweet of your DS - does he have a preference for baby?

I like the idea of the i Candy as I could convert it back to a single when Orla doesn't need it any more. She's happy to walk now but we live near some busy roads, and she does tend to run off (I tried without the pushchair this week with a trip to supermarket and then the garden centre, it was fine until I had to queue to pay and then it was a nightmare :( ) and on days when I don't have a car I will need to walk quite far so it's more like a safety net rather than something she'd be in all the time. Think I need a bit more than just a buggy board!

Yes if you do a lot of walking it would be easier to have one! I wish I needed one, I love buggy shopping :haha:
Maybe I'll try the pregnancy pillow - although I'm not sure DH would be happy, he moans about not having enough space as it is!!

I never got to do proper buggy shopping last time round so want to make up for it this time :haha:

Defo recommend pillow, I've got a snake shaped one think the make is Carla and I used it to help me feed Orla (especially useful after c section) then used it to prop myself up in bed to read or watch telly before I was pregnant again. Defo for my monies worth. The Carla one is quite expensive but I wanted a washable removable cover.

Happy Friday!

Hi ladies. Glad to hear your all going well in your pregnancies. I couldn't get into the dr just yet but will try and get in this week coming.
This weekend were in for bad storms and flooding. It's been raining heavy for 4 hours so far and already have 10 local roads closed.
I'm hoping I can relax this cycle as we have so much on. At the end of my tww were going on a 2 day trip to Melbourne to see my SIL graduate from the Navy and of course because we can't pass the opportunity we will be stopping in at the casino and getting a baby sitter for ds lol. So leading up to it we have lots of planning as we only just found out about the trip a couple of days ago and when we get back it'll be the end of our tax year - which I'm excited for as DH has some "forced savings" with HECS.

Oh one of my good friends had her 3rd baby 2 days ago! He was 9lb 13oz! And we went out with DH's work mates for a "half year moral booster" and it was the most alcohol I've consumed in 3 years and surprisingly I didn't have a hang over lol

Yes I agree that all of your pregnancies are just flying by! I almost feel left behind but I'm super happy for all of you! And can't wait for more scan pics and eventually birth announcements!!
