thanks hun..im not a big drinker anymore..used to be lol! im more of a evening wine drinker now...the odd glass.I can take it or leave it..but would be nice to have the choice of having the odd glass

^ My situation was slightly different as Edward never latched but I start expressing by hand a few hours after I had him, and then by pump from 3 days afterwards. He was fed EBM for two weeks but exclusive expressing is very hard work xx

I don't know anyone else in real life who have BF past 2 days and I have a lot of friends with babys. I don't know anyone who has ever BF as long as I have either LOL People are shocked about it but I think it's partly to do with the fact that I'm only 22.

I met one woman who was breastfeeding and we talked for ages! she didnt know any one and nore did I. It was like some weird mutual friendship started then to she totally changed towards me and I dont mean anything to do with how I fed I mean that she had someone she knew also thats breastfeeding. Thats the only person I have ever met thats breastfed. I get asked when I am putting my baby on proper milk and I am apparently going to make him a fruit cake by breastfeeding him still and clingy, he isnt one bit clingy.

Have been dealing with ignorant people all morning to about breastfeeding and these are aggressive ones that think a;ll breast feeders are talking crap. I think I have had enough of justifying why I breastfeed for a lifetime. Thankfully we have none of these types in here everyone knows the benefits and isnt insultive when they dont.

I don't think it will totally prevent pregnancy, always use something else x

Your right hun, my best friend was breastfeeding and now has two babies only 12 months apart lol. Deffo use sometthing else. xx

well my ticker and blinkie say it isnt maybe if you are exclusive as I got pregnant when my son was 12 months about. My period returned at 8 months.

not that il be gettn any sex lol!! or wanting it..but you never know..haha!
my intention was to use the depo shot..but i didnt know if you could breast feed on it

no you cant I dont think the only safe way is the mini pill I was told. And dont take it before 6 weeks, I plan on mini pill after this one.

It can stop your periods and stop you ovulating but you ovulate before you get AF (obviously) so you could get caught out on your first cycle IYKWIM? Its happened to a few girls off bnb

As you can see i have a 9 month old and am preggy and i'm still BF now,he was exclusively BF for 6 months until weaning but i caught when he was 3 months old..12 months between bubs!! EEEK!

Try having the coil fitted! OH is keen to go for the snip but i am like what if i want another in 5 years? i am only 25 now and although i totally dislike been pregnant may want another by then, after i have qualified as a MW, well am hoping to.
