choc: lol I'm not sure I quite believe that myself. I'm sure it's really up to the individual and baby. I actually googled this the other day because I was curious, and it looked like that it's not unusually to go over and be induced after your first.
I think movement worry really is one of the worst. If you think it's okay and it's really not, it can just really weigh on you that you didn't get it checked out. Then you feel stupid when you do get it checked out and everything is fine, regardless of all of the reassurance from the staff saying it's better to get checked.
xLaura: I really hope it's tightenings!
Are they at least having you call in if your b/p reaches a certain point? I'd imagine that has to be stressful trying to watch out for that.
I'm the same with the movements if I can't remember when I last felt them. If I wake up a little later in the day, I usually have a panicky morning as it's been so long since I've felt movement (because of sleeping), so then it just kind of turns it into a day of monitoring.
Why can't there be some sort of timer that let's you know when it's fully cooked? Haha.

That just gave me an image of a turkey cooking and having the little thing pop out when it's done lol
Eleanor ace: Oi! 3cm at 36 weeks with contracting and STILL going to 41 weeks? I think that would have driven me up a wall to go through that for 5 weeks with just waiting for something!
There's a song called "Push It". DH said I need to listen to it every day until he's born
BabyJayne: Oh! I really hope these are it for you

You'll have to keep us posted on that!
He's moving... some. I'll probably still call though.
I had gone in last Wednesday evening for it. Even though he had started to move a little more while I was waiting for a call back, my midwife said to still go in to be safe and to call even if I have any doubts.
I have had about 10 movements in the required time, but I still don't feel comfortable with it. I know they run out of room, but for as much and as strong as he was moving the last 2 days, I don't buy that these considerably smaller movements are only because he's running out of room. I mean, it could be, but I don't know that for sure.
The movements have only been very subtle.
When I was in at 38, he met the quota for movements, but wasn't having good accelerations with the movements which had me monitored over night. So considering that information, I'm not sure I feel completely confident with just having subtle movements.
I'm sure he's fine, but I don't want to be the one to say that he is when I really have no way of telling.
He has the hiccups now, but if I don't get anything more significant here shortly, I'm going to call for my own reassurance.
I remember back when I was worried with DD, DH used to just roll his eyes. Fortunately everything was always fine with her, but I think when they kept me at 38 weeks for monitoring and a bpp the following morning, I think that worried him enough that he doesn't question when I say I'm going to call anymore.
