Ohhh that sounds fun! DH purchased our home as a foreclosure 4 years ago and we fixed it up. Love it! We also thought about keeping when we are ready to move on to a bigger house...but we realized it's probably too nice of a home to be a rental.

DH's parents have a bunch or rental properties...it is interesting to me and we have talked about it before but it's also a huge pain due to the quality of renters in our area

For sure! I mainly like the decorating part...when we bought our house in February fortunately it didn't need a bunch of stuff done, but there's always the projects that come with a house. It sounds like you already have great experience, so a realtor license would be a great next step!

Nope, and no AF yet either! I was cramping so bad early this morning that I thought for sure. I'll buy a test over my lunch hour today! I'm excited but I don't want to be disappointed either!

Ahh FX for you!! I know what you mean not wanting to get dissapointed. Really hoping this is it for you though! Cramps could just be your body stretching and expanding to get ready for a baby.

I can only imagine how you feel right now. its so hard to not get your hopes up. Fingers crossed. I'm so anxious for it to be lunch time (in your time zone lol). You were so dedicated this month. You deserve to get that BFP! I've already figured out the days I'll be BDing this month (if all goes well) hope I can stick to it this month!

Well I tested (couldn't quite wait until noon), and BFN. Not even a trace of a line. So either it's too early to tell or this is an extremely weird cycle. Kinda disappointing, but I'll test tomorrow morning again.

Boo at least AF hasn't started. I hate weird cycles. They only seem to happen when it's really important that you be regular. Still hoping you end up with that BFP!

Thanks, ttcdw! I've been doing some googling and it is quite possible that I tested too early, most of what I am reading says to wait a week. So who knows.

That's true. Most tests can pick it up when AF is missed but it can take a week or even more to get a positive test. I know someone who didn't get a bfp until she was 7 weeks along. So there is definitely still hope! If you didn't implant until 12dpo (which is usually the last day they say you can implant) it would be a little while before a test would show it.

Hi Ladies:

Just wanted to stop by and see how you all were.
Mininun I think you are also around 8 DPO like me? Def very early to have a positive hun.
Im trying to keep busy and I have been very sucessful at that.
Symptom spotting for me its not working cause I can get all the symptoms just in my daily routine, I normally smell everything and get queasy quickly, and bbs get bigger before AF like everyone else i guess!
So on that note am not feeling extremely optimistic like before, just normal and waiting to see.
I will not test until Friday, but am honestly scared of doing it. Maybe I will actually wait until 13 DPO.

Hi Esperanza, good to hear from you! It sounds like you are rolling right along. Actually for me, AF was due this past Sunday, and never showed. I tested yesterday and it was a BFN, so I'm totally confused. I never have late or missed periods, but either it's a weird cycle or I don't have enough of the pregnancy hormone in my system to show on a test yet. I'm trying to be patient and wait a few more days to test again!

When you test again try to do it with your first morning urine. It's got the highest concentration of the hormone in it so is most likely to get a bfp! Even without a test showing it, no AF is a good sign!

Esperanza, symptom spotting usually just confuses things Since AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are basically the same. Your better off just waiting and testing.
I am on CD4. Waiting ever so patiently to ovulate. Haha.
