Hi everyone,

I'm starting my down reg on Tuesday & have 6 blastocysts frozen. We got pregnant after our second ICSI treatment & only one took out of the two embryos & we have a 15 month old boy now. The clinic said they were happy putting back 2 embryos again if they thaw ok & I presumed that we would defrost 2 at a time but my OH wants to defrost 3, but obviously if the first FET doesn't work we'll only be able to have another go

Have all your frosties defrosted ok?

Thanks

Hi
We had 2 frosties but they were day 2 embies. We thawed both and they continued dividing in the few hrs between thaw and ET but sadly it was bfn. Blast embies, frozen or fresh are more hardy but there's no guarantees. It it were me I'd thaw 2. If you thaw 3 and all 3 are good would you have them all put back?? If you'd only ever have 2, I'd only thaw 2.
Good luck!! Xx
