Harry had his first set of jabs yesterday. He was very good and only cried for a minute before going to sleep.... and he stayed asleep for most of the day and night. Today he's been really upset and has been screeeeeaming for no apparent reason and not feeding very much. I know he's not feeling well after the jabs, and he had a temperature this afternoon - i've been keeping him dosed up with Calpol since yesterday - but how long are they like this for after their jabs?
this can last a few days sometimes a week after, if you are concerned at all theres always the NHS24 or your health visitor for advice but it's normal for them to have a temp and general grumpiness for a bit afterwards as their bodies build up the antibodies for whatever it is they are being immunised for - just as long as the temp doesnt go above 40 celcius.
