I would love to have twins, honestly. I never wanted them before, until we cared for Fish and Panda. The twin thing is so. difficult. but so so sweet, too.
So, the plan is to do an IUI next month, and to do two rounds of monitored IUIs before moving forward with IVF. The doctor actually kind of left this up to us. I wanted to only do one IUI but SJ (my wife) wanted to do two. As there were no issues discovered in all the testing, she believes there's a chance we were just missing ovulation, as frozen sperm has such a short lifespan. I'm still on the fence (we had months of tries not using frozen sperm that also didn't work), but I can see what she's saying and no one can argue that clomid & a trigger shot are less physically demanding than IVF meds. So we're going to give that a try. I'm CD21 right now and my period usually comes around CD29-30. So about a week and a half out.
The one slight snaf-u is that they found a "structure" somewhere behind my uterus during the ultrasound. The RE said he didn't believe it was related to (in)fertility, but he couldn't identify what, exactly, it was. He did say it didn't look like a tumor or anything cancerous, though. So he may recommend an MRI, just to figure out what, exactly, it is. If that happens that will likely push "next month's" IUI out a month, as I obviously can't get an MRI if there's a possibility of pregnancy. So I'm waiting to hear back from him on that. He said to call tomorrow if I haven't heard anything yet.
