Been having a hard week because Jayson and I caught cold from my husband who is back at work and he tested positive for RSV which I guess didn't end up meaning much because it's still considered mild like a regular cold. However, I have been really stressed about his breathing which was already weird because of the silent reflux

He is much better today, but still sounds raspy and doesn't like to be on his back. Ugh!

If you girls haven't bought a Nose Frida yet, I recommend having it on hand. It works much better than the nasal bulb for relieving congestion. That and have some plain infant safe saline drops on hand, too.

Hope everyone else is doing well. See you on Facebook! I am on there a lot more because it's easier from my phone.

Daisy, I just saw that you don't have Facebook. Just FYI you can create a profile that isn't searchable and then just set all your privacy settings so no one can see anything you post and that would allow you to join the group without really participating in other Facebook stuff. Just an option. I have a friend that does that because she married someone semi-famous so didn't want to post anything on Facebook anymore but wanted to be able to keep in touch with people using it.

Glad that Zodi is doing well and that is silly if they are giving you a hard time about his size if he is gaining and lots of wet diapers. You are right to stop getting that kind of negativity.

Congrats on the first smiles!!! It's the best!!! It took about a week of "starter smiles" for Jayson to start doing it all the time and now he even does an almost "laugh" smiling and gurgling when you tickle his tummy which is so adorable. He's also more interested in the stuff on his playmat and can entertain himself on it for a good 20min or so of kicking and swatting things. Does Zodi have a playmat? It's really fun to gauge Jayson's milestones with how he interacts with that, too.

Zodi is spending lots of time just staring at things. Luckily there are many interesting patterns in the house for him to gaze at. He coos sometimes and has even squealed at us a few times. At 6 weeks he's almost gained two pounds from his 8% drop (5lb7 to 7lb5)

Does not want anything to do with his pack n play. Very much a mama's boy but mama doesn't mind!!

Logan is 7 weeks today and on Tuesday he weighed 11lbs 7.5oz. He's getting so much bigger every day.
He loves to look and stare at everything. He gets mad when you lay him down and has to be held upright anytime he's awake. He's also smiling and "talking" a lot now. I even got the beginning of a giggle one day.

Zodi will be 2 mo. in 5 days. Can't believe it! Definitely becoming more of a person. He coos and stares at all sorts of patterns. And he smiles at "b" sounds like "big belly baby boy" and a tickle on his tummy. This morning I could swear I heard him use "n" in his coos--his first consonant!

I never thought I could have so much love for such a tiny non mobile non verbal creature

It is amazing how fast time goes by and how they are growing!
Ben is wearing 6 months clothes already!

How are you doing? How well is he sleeping?

He is sleeping ok, we bedshare so I'm up 2-3 times before I'm mostly up around 5 because he's squirming so much

He is gaining really well too at 8 weeks he weighed in 8lb 2oz (I know it doesn't seem like a lot but we have been working hard BF lately )

Today I could hardly recognize my baby as the little newborn I brought home. He's so different, changed so much! I can't believe it, my heart just might explode from all the love.

Today was the first time Zodi responded to my smile with a smile back I melted into a puddle

Logan got hid first vaccines today. 😢
He did pretty good, only let out 2 big cries then calmed down as soon as Daddy picked him up. He's been nursing non stop since then though. I feel so bad even though I know it's the best thing for him.
He is also growing like a weed. 13lbs 1oz and 25 inches.

Daisy, we are doing well! Dorian is a skinny mini but happy and healthy. He turned 5 months on July 2! He loves being on his belly now and is well on his way to crawling.

How are you and Zodi?

Can't believe he is 5 months already??? Zodi is also a skinny mini, weighed in at 11lbs11.5oz on the 30th. He turned four months on the 26th.
He loves being on his tummy too and he can roll from tummy to back. Loves scratching different textures and being outside in nature. He can almost sit up unsupported too!

Crazy how big his personality is for such a little guy. Tell all the girls in the FB group hi for me

Wow, time sure has flown!

Zodi is a cutie! I'm so glad to hear that everything is going well for you and Zodi.

Emma is a peanut too. She will be 5 months on the 19th of July. When we went last Friday she was 12 pounds 3 oz and 23 inches. Only the 2nd % for height and 24th % for weight.

Zodi is so cute!

Logan was 4 months on the 25th and is a pretty big boy. He weighed 15lbs 8oz and was 27 inches.
He rolls both ways, is trying so hard to crawl but just bounces on his hands and knees and pushes himself backwards, and can sit like a tripod. He is generally such a happy boy and laughs a lot. He also loves the outdoors. We took him camping for the first time two weeks ago and he did amazing and had such a good time.
