"Flash-pasteurized juice" (like Odwalla) not safe???

So I enjoy drinking juices/smoothies from Odwalla and Naked that I get at Whole Foods. They say "flash-pasteurized" or "gently pasteurized" on the side, so I assumed they were safe for pregnancy. I've had several in the past week.

But I was just reading the "Unsafe Foods" section in What to Expect, and it says to avoid "unpasteurized or flash pasteurized juices". So now I'm freaking out (doesn't help that the emotional hormones seem to have kicked in ), worrying that I could have gotten Listeria from it. I won't drink them anymore (will miss my Mango Tango!), but do you think I have reason to worry? I just didn't know!

Found these online:

oh for g_ds sake! we cant eat or drink anything! so frustrating. I have been drinking those too.

Thanks, Ummar--those make me feel a bit better!

And sorry if I freaked anyone out--I'm learning that there's so much conflicting info out there! It does seem as if to be completely safe, we'd need to subsist on bread and filtered water.

Ugh! I agree! Everything I used to eat that was GREAT before pregnancy is suddenly off limits! It's freaking me out!
