I'm going to do food hampers for both sets of parents but want to do treaty type ones rather than everyday type ones.
What can I include? Thinking homemade too so biscuits, truffles etc

I did some small ones last year that had homemade fudge, chutneys and flavoured vodka.

For some friends of mine I included some nice cheeses and a good bottle of port

I'm doing homemade fudge, truffles, cheese biscuits and normal biscuits.

I always chuck in smellies like Molton or Jo Malone, bath bombs, fine soaps, slippers, a nice scarf and gloves or something for the garden, Emma Bridgewater mugs etc. as well as nice foodie bits. Chuck in some Chococo chocolates, they won't be disappointed.

Gingerbread is Christmassy and easy to make.

Shortbread too.

Chutneys and marmalade can be made easily (I cheat and use Ma Made, but it still tastes far nicer than shop bought and if you add a bit of whiskey it tastes luxurious and expensive but is actually cheap to make).

Snoman soup? Some Bah Humbugs?
