. What did the docs tell your brother and his wife about their babies chances of a survival, the operations the baby will need, etc. How heartbreaking they are going through all of this. Is this their first baby? Lots of hope and prayers for all of you. As for your dhs comment. Men in general seem to lack tact. I would have felt like slapping him if I were you. But my dh has also made some pretty shitty comments before that I was on the verge of punching him out (of course I didnt). I hope he apologizes to u if he already hasn't. I still have hope for you that u get a surprise bfp, you never know. Gosh, I'll never understand why these things have to happen to the best of people. Doesn't seem fair at all. Praying that things get better from here on out. Hows the big and strong Pierce doing? Getting into any mischief lately? I notice he had a big growth spurt from last appointment and his weight gain has slowed down a lot. Sophie's weight seemed to come to a halt at 29/30 lbs. I am starting to miss her plumpness as she gets taller.

Mar 26 does seem like ages away. I dont think that it would be a waste of money for a private scan given the rollercoaster you have been on. Up to you though hun. 
Then sadly we received a call that my nephew on my husband's side had passed away, so off we went to MN for the week. Such a heartbreaking time up there. It was with a heavy heart we left not only to be leaving my DH's sister, but because Tuesday we get the preliminary reports from my brother's amnio at the visit with the neonatal cardiologist.
