Laura. I know how it is to think maybe just maybe a surprise BFP is in the works, then the shows *whomp whomp. I must admit it's been nice knowing 100% that I'm not preggers (since DH is gone)...no room for wishful thinking when there isn't any going on! (The bunny still cracks me up---ba bam chicka bam baw).

I'm finally recovered from family being in town! Soooo much work having company! Pierce had his 2 yo check up today---35.75 inches 34lbs. He is a brick. Didn't care much for the Dr, but that's him being shy.

Have I told you all that I miss my DH? This single mom gig is for the birds!

We did the zoo yesterday too Bethany! It was raining when we first got there, I tried talking Pierce out of going, but he insisted we went to see the baby giraffe (he's 2 weeks old)! Thankfully the rain faded and we had a beautiful high 70's instead of the +90*!

Hi ladies!!

Bethany and Angel, the zoo sounds like a lot of fun! Can u believe I still haven't taken Sophie to the zoo? I have been avoiding it because most likely I need to take Natalie with me and she is extremely allergic to animals, but I am thinking maybe I can give her benadryl and if she takes her inhalers before going to the zoo she will be just fine.

Angel, I didn't realize how long your dh is going to be away. Is he going to have to go on these trips for much longer? I remember u mentioning that at some point he will stop traveling and retire. Do you have a lot of family close to where you live? Like any cousins near by? I remember u mentioning Your sis and her children. I'm hoping u have a strong support system near you. Btw, how is David doing?

Bethany, sounds like things are getting better for you and your dh. Is he working right now? You are back in Texas, right? How is Lorelei doing? Still acting like a little teenager? Lol. Sounds like she can be a bit feisty, just like Sophie. Is she still going through that picky stage? Funny thing, miss picky Sophie happens to love bean cheese and rice burritos lol. Its so Cute because she will ask for a burrito, only she calls is "bu-i-to" lol.

Laura, I still can't get over how adorable Simon is. Love the curls on top of his head. What a cutie. Sorry you are missing your dh while he is away working. I had no idea he traveled for work, but so glad he is working and taking care of you and Simon.

Sophie is doing very good. She has a ton of energy and is up for about 15 hours a day, no nap whatsoever. I tried for a long time to give her quiet time and put her for a nap but by 1 year she just stopped napping and has never looked back. I blame this on dh. Hehe. He use to get up at 4am every morning as a toddler. Remember how worried I was about her language skills? She is now putting together 4 word sentences. This little girl never fails to impress me. She is already a whiz with any cell phone, knows how to get into the apps, open baby games, solves the games and puzzles (can even play collapse and angry birds), she gets on youtube (with child filters of course) knows how to get on to all the subscriptions, hoopla kids, disney, etc, mastered camera functions, takes pics and the list goes on. She has been wonderful with the technology stuff for so long but I was always worried about her lack of speaking, thank God she is speaking so much better now. She is still writing and throwing left handed so I am thinking she very well might be left handed not quite 100% sure though. Sorry its been so long since I gave any update on how Sophia is doing and have had such a hard time getting here. All of u have asked about how she is doing but I hardly get the chance to leave long messages on here anymore. Its so hard with 3 kids.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!! I myself feel like I'm in a bit of a fog so please forgive my lack of attention to details

Bethany & Angel, the zoo sounds like so much fun! We have yet to go the one out here but we use to go to the San Diego zoo when were in Cali. So much fun!

Laura, how are you and Simon doing? Hope OH is back before you know it hun.

Jess, so happy to hear about Sophia doing well! I dont blame you for not having much time. Things can be crazy with one child let alone three! So so so happy to hear about the great report!

Leslie, hope you and the girls are well.

Angel, I should be revealing the gender here maybe in the next few weeks. We have yet to tell our family so I have to see when DH will give me the ok to blurt it out hehe.
