lol cazd, thats a great way to think. SO forget cd16 for ov I am pretty sure I O'd last night cd15 between 9 and 10 pm. I felt every second of it. We'll see if FF picks up on it for cd15 or 16. Will know in a couple more days.

We're going the ICSI route because more then anything I want my own child and DH agrees, he would adopt or choose donor sperm but he said the idea of it being his appealed more to him. I want our child to. My DH is an RCMP officer and if anything ever happened to him it would be great to have a piece of him with me forever.

what's an RCMP?

I don't think I could have a baby that wasn't 'ours' - its all about making our own little person that'll take after both of us - looks-wise too.
Ha - not sure why that's so important - we're no oil paintings

RCMP is royal canadian mounted police. It's canada national police force.

I prefer our own bilogical child to but we want kids enough that we would use donor sperm or adopt once we have exhausted all other chances but thats a far way away cause we're going to try as many times as is reasonable.

lol yeah, well he was a regular university student when I met him and we started dating.

I'm off to have my blood done again today, hoping my progesterone comes back at a decent level.
10dpo and temp is now over 98 yay! It hasn't reached the heights of where it got to last time, but it's getting there!

hoorah! hope the bloods go OK - we'll have to compare stats when we get the results back!

Of course - there's always a chance that your levels will be through the roof !

Well I hope the test comes back with a high progesterone, although based on your temps I don't think they will come back low.

bfn today, wasn't unexpected so I'm fine. just would have been a nice suprise to see two lines! ah well, one day!
doctors appointment later this morning so I'll let you know what they say.

Good Luck !!

I just bought some sticks with the glimmer of hope that I might one day see those two lines!
Not much chance though - I've got no symptoms at all. Gonna call the docs and see if they might be able to give us the last s/a result...

Hi,

Reproductively challenged here!

Classification: Unknown infertility - that's me.

Would you ladies mind if I joined in your group?

Me: 32, DH: 33 - TTC for 10 months

First fertility appointment was today - loads of tests already by GP have slight PCO but not PCOS apparently.

Next stage: tube test (sounds painful) and third SA for DH

Happy to be kind of moving forward.... Hope you don't mind me joining in.

 welcome winks :dust:

well I definately did ovulate. my progesterone was 20.5, it was 1.5 in my anovulatory cycles so this is good news!
we chatted about clomid, but because I am capable of ovulating on my own I have decided to try soy for a couple of cycles, since it is more natural, and if that doesn't help to regulate ovulation then I will go back and try clomid, which she is happy to prescribe for me.

oh wow !!!! you made an EGG !!!!!! shame about the :bfn: though - just hope its still too early. Hopefully you won't need that clomid but I guess it'll be nice to at least have the option of drugs to take up later if you want it.

And HELLO WINKS !!!
You'll fit right in with us then... I'm 31, OHs 33 and we've just had all the tests done except the HSG - think that sounds like the one you've got coming up too.

And welcome to the wonderful world of WAAAY TMI and strangers asking you very personal questions!
What were your OH's first two S/A results?
Its all about the :spermy: for us so I'm curious xxxx

Yes I am curious to what they were... cazd what were yours? It's all about the sperm for us to.

Thanks for the welcome :)

Cazd, I'm not 100% sure of the sperm results in detail - but..

Test 1 - (DH was sick) - had below average everything and they were a bit deformed poor little things.

Test 2 - (DH was healthy) - GP said was ok

Fertility specialist has asked for another test - apparently the lab we went to doesn't do the morphology to her standards.

BTW Mrs_N was does Soy do for your cycles?

good luck with the repeat test winks.

soy is meant to act like a natural Clomid - you take soy isoflavones for 5 days at the start of the cycle and it stimulates ovulation. I have seen so many success stories with it I've decided to give it a go before trying Clomid. People get a bit confused with it because generally they advise against soy if pregnant or ttc, but this is a restricted amount taken just for 5 days and there is no evidence to suggest it causes reduced fertility in humans.

So :witch: has arrived here and I'm fine - so excited about cycle 8! :happydance:

BOOOOO for the :witch:

I'm just waiting for her to pay me a visit now !

Winks - my man's 1st S/A was 6% morphology, 7mil quantity and 40 something% rapid movement.
All below par really...
But its great to hear your man's 2nd lot were OK - gives me hope!

He's done a second analysis but we haven't had the results yet - I've called to ask for them but they were supposed to call me back last week but we didn't hear from them.
Guess I'll keep chasing next week.
I did my CD21 bloods last week too so hopefully we'll get the results all in one go.
I'm REALLY looking forward to booking in my HSG though - should have it next week!
Finally - a procedure that might help us!

Aargh I'm in agony today, counting this as cd1 yesterday was just spotting.
Spending the weekend with friends one of whom is pregnant - so there is loads of baby talk which is lovely but a bit roughy especially with :witch: in the house!

Aww mrs N, I am sorry it's rough, we have all been there. Remember your PMA for cycle 8!!!!
