I have to say though, I love hot weather, but being pregnant makes it a lot less fun! I guess it's also because I've put on weight while pregnant :O

we have the outside blind thingys on our flat pulled down during the day keeps it cooler then with the doors open:haha: im not good with heat as it is

we have no shutters or blinds :( and our bedroom is in the roofspace too - sweltering!

We are on the top floor, so we heat up quite a bit! we have curtains, and they are all closed atm. But It's still pretty hot! I'd love to go for a walk in the sun, but I think I'd pass out :P

It's hot here too, pretty ugh.

I live in a top floor flat too, but it's not one of those typical german flats where they have cave rooms. My boyfriend says it's pretty hot in Kassel at the moment.

can't wait to get back to Germany. I haven't missed the UK much to be honest.

Hehe, that's clever! We hope to go home in feb with our LO. It's a long way, but I think babies have an easier time than we do on a plane. They get to sleep flat and be fed when they want etc. Only thing that is not nice is taking off and landing.
It's going to be our test run, she if we can cope with going to Japan for some time. Which is sort of a test to see if we could live there!

I find a lot of houses quite dark too! But I guess that isn't bad when it's hot :)

We flew with C when she was 5 weeks old, but only shorthaul, Belfast to London. She did really well with it though!

No idea which you mean :haha: it is definitely good though to have some shady areas in a house or flat , where the summer afternoon sun won't get into.

Keep forgetting about this thread lol

Whats the weather like now? I'm returning next Monday so I hope there's still some summer left - I got a nice little summer dress for Lena which I want her to get some use out of. Stupid me left it in Germany and she could have worn it here

Supposed to be a bit rainy the next week :/ It's been alright though over the weekend.

Where I am it is very similar to London weather :haha:

We managed to get out of the house and to look at some castles and things today. The weather became nicer too :). Now it's 7pm and I'm starvvvvinggggg.

hm I was at the british day, in HH yesterday, (mainly because my cricket club is also there) and I bought some dried fruit and nuts(not sure whats British abiout that but well :haha:) and I had nearly all the cashew nuts (honey roasted ones)
I also got two steak and kidney opies for my dear oh :haha: as he is missing them (I hope he likes the canned variety) and some fudge too :ononom:
