Gift idea for 5 month old

So mine and my friend babies will be 5 months at Xmas. Personally I'm not getting my daughter a lot at all! However me and OH want to get her little boy a little gift for his first Xmas. Any ideas?

My nephew will be 6m at christmas and weve got him a wooden train track that is engraved around the track, for his first christmas. I know he's too young for it yet but hes going to get lots of other family members so more of a keepsake gift. Then we've got a pack of blocks, cant remember what theyre called but made of a type of rubber, that you can stack and they make noises and have different textures on and can also go in the bath.

This was by far the best present i had for Micah's first Christmas. He was 3 months but this toy still a favourite at 6 months and beyond. It makes a crinkly noise when picked up and is , light and grabable for tiny fingers, plus he delighted in things being hidden and then revealed for a long time!

Our Niece will be 3 months at Christmas and we're buying her clothes
