Hi
I'm turning 30 later this year :saywhat: and am starting to think about what I could do.
I fancy a break away for a couple of days with some girl friends and am looking suggestions in the UK.
I was thinking either theatre, spa, cocktails, chocolate :haha: some of my favourite things.
Any hotels you know of that are really nice/a bit different?
Or maybe you've done something for a birthday or hen party that's a bit different and was great fun.
Thanks :flower:

I've done a few things on hen dos that have been fun. Mine,we went to Manchester and did a dance routine to 'man, I feel like a woman' not easy when your hungover !! Good time though! We hired a large Suite in the Marriot and had naked butlers and a casino night, they ran the roulette andade us cocktails and drinks.. Good giggle! Ive done pole dancing lessons, the place had a bar in it so we sank a few shots before hand! There's a place in Birmingham ( and probably other cities too) that give you cocktail making lessons.
We're hiring a private house for a friends party later in the year, there's quite a few about with pools and hot tubs ect..

Have you thought about coming to London?

You can get dinner and theatre packages. I would recommend the Lion King, Matilda, Wicked, Billy Elliot, Shrek and you can ask me in a couple of days if I would recommend Charlie and the chocolate factory (going to see it on Friday). I have never done one of the packages but friends and family have and said they would recommend them.

If you give me an idea of a budget I could recommend some more things to do and restaurants to go to. Also an idea of how long you want to be away for.

The Thermae Spa in Bath is amazing and actually not that expensive. They have pools, saunas, aroma rooms, monsoon showers, loads of treatments, nice restaurant etc. They have a rooftop pool (indoor one too) and an original acient Roman bath that you can swim in... its all modern tiling in the pool now but original walls are still there and it's outdoors too. You have to rent the roman bath bit privately, we hired it for an hour then went in main spa for rest of the day.

Can't remember where we stayed but it wasn't anything special, just a reasonable hotel that had rooms with 5 single beds in lol!
