Give your favorite tip to ladies new to ttc.

1) If you're in the US goto a OBGYN that has the letters "FACOG" behind his name because they specialize in fertility. Read the OB's bio and make sure she specializes in fertility because they can do everything except for IVF and it's a lot cheaper than a Fertility Specialist.

Trust your gut. My first OB was totally horrible (no FACOG). She wanted to put through a lot of expensive tests and procedures because hubby and I were having problems (one and half years and nada).

I finally switched OB and within 2 months I got pregnant naturally. He caught things she didn't.

2) After 6 months if you haven't conceived yet, have your hubby get checked out i.e. sperm count don't wait 9 months or a year because if he has a problem it takes 3 months for new sperm to be created if he has to be put on meds and if h needs surgery it might take up to a year for him to heal.

3) If you're trying ttc for a long time, there will be arguments and it puts a strain on the relationship. Talk about it.

4) I used fertility friend AND clearblue. It really helped because sometimes taking bbt you miss your surge.

5) If you're dry down there use preseed or something called the slippery stuff water soluble". I was using preseed for a year and a half and it got expensive so I switched to the slippery stuff and it worked great...heck I got my bfp.

6) If you are overweight or if hubby is overweight - exercise. We started exercise and I believe it helped with our BFP
