I work in the public sector and I knew when I went off on maternity there would be another round of savings needed. I've had it agreed with my line managed to drop down to 3 days a week, he said I could do this on a temporary basis which I was quite surprised about.
I sent an email earlier this week confirming my return date and in the email I said I confirmed I would be returning 3 days a week temporarily, this must have been picked up somewhere as I have had another email today saying they are looking at savings and asking how temporary the arrangement would be and for me to send back my initial thoughts?
I've responded back to say I would prefer to discuss this in person but not via email?
Does that sound ok?
