as this is a bank holiday does anyone know cos i normally get my child tax credit on friday if this will be paid earlier??

I googled it and someone that got theirs on friday last year was paid on thursday so I would assume it to be the same case.

They're not allowed to pay you late (same as with a salary from work), so if your normal payday falls on a Bank Holiday, they will always pay you the day before.

Im 99% sure you get it the day before as I was in the post office yesterday and they had a sign up telling you when you would get your benefits paid if it fell on a bank holiday.

yes, Good Friday and Easter Monday are bank holidays.
