gripe water

Hello ladies

Does anyone know why babies cant have gripe water before 4 weeks ?

I have some in the cupboard ready for friday lol. Also my DD was born 3 weeks early at 37+2 weeks. As 37 weeks is classed as term is it right that i can give it to her at 4 weeks or do i have to adjust the age and give it to her 4 weeks after her due date ? Sorry if this is a very silly question. I have never had an early baby before

weird here in cananda on our gripe water for NB you give 1/2tsp and 1-6 months 1 tsp

My baby was born at 36weeks and i started using gripe water when he was for weeks actual, so near his due date x

The bottle of gripe water I have says it's usable from birth.

i used it at 3 weeks! never done any harm! infact helped aiden loads
