Oh man, DH and I always used to joke that twins would be our worst nightmare. I can't even IMAGINE!
Neighbors down our street just went from 0 - 3!!
I know this is different for everyone, but I REALLY struggled with 1 - 2. Giving my toddler attention while trying to care for the baby... trying to put the baby down for naps without my toddler waking her... getting only an hour of sleep at night only to have the baby FINALLY fall asleep at 7am, just as my toddler was waking up (so no sleep for me), etc etc. One baby was just so easy in comparison. There were loads of other problems with my first that I didn't have as much with my second (breast feeding was a breeze the second time around compared to the first) but I also had the "baby blues" for a long, long time after my second was born and it made everything seem stressful.
That being said, my youngest is now 10 months and we're actually considering TTC soon (so I think I'm officially crazy!) but we've got everything under control now
I know you don't really mean it when you say that Itsychik but please think about it for a moment. Your worst nightmare in regards to babies cannot possibly be twins.
