Hi there, mine didn't quite double, they were:
4 weeks 5 days - 643
5 weeks - 1117
5 weeks 2 days - 2120
I also had bleeding between weeks 5 and 7 on and off, and a random small bleed last Monday, the last 2 scans I have had though have shown a healthy pregnancy measuring exactly right. The nurse at the hospital told me that hcg needs to rise to be a normal pregnancy but by how much is different from person to person. I would say try and relax, there is nothing you can do to influence what happens, the not knowing is awful but if you keep yourself occupied the time will pass, good luck
