Heaven as a name?

FOB texts me yesterday with this name suggestion if its a girl. He is pretty adamant. My relationship with FOB has been on uncertain grounds these past 9 weeks so I dont want to rock the boat at the moment.

Im happy that he is taking an interest in the baby because I honestly thought he was turning his back on the baby and I...

I dont hate the name but not exactly sure if I like it either... maybe as a second name?

of course it is your choice but I wouldn't. Think of when you are an adult and introducing yourself to new friends, in-laws, or potential employers. I hope things work out for the best with your boyfriend

Personally, I would use it as a second name. That being said, I've known people named Golden and Rainbow that did just fine in life even with unusual names. It is really up to you and what feels right.

I was actually leaning towards Isabella, Angelina or Mikayla... but we'll see.

i dont hate it but i did question him and he seems to be serious. Like I said in my OP I dont want to rock the boat we are on rocky ground with one another at the moment and his way of dealing with things is walking away and not talking to me for an extended period of time. I dont want to stress myself any further with my situation with him.

It does possibly sound like a stripper name or a porn star name -- but a lot of names fall into that category. After all, strippers & porn stars are choosing names that are intentionally pretty & feminine.

I love Angelina. There is no reason to argue with the FOB as you said. Most likely he will change his mind, or his family will say something negative about the name and he will find a diff one he likes.

Just say to him "I'm happy you are getting excited about the baby" or something that encourages his involvement!

Honestly I dont think he should have a say after what he has put me through. Hes an asshole. I'm not naming LO Heaven and if he has an issue with it then he can F OFF!

Thanks everyone I'm so worried about pushing him away but its made me realise that no matter what I say and do shouldnt have that reaction on him. He should want to be around LO.

what stippers do you know lol... around here strippers HAVE to have normal names, it make clients more relaxed and everything feel more real - I know an Ely, Libby, Louise, Mary, Donna, Joanna, Kelly, Denise etc... Ive never in my life met a stripper with a weird or even slightly out there name
