Hi everyone, just wanted to pick your brains. Have just had chemical pregnancy #4 and am really starting to worry. Went to docs after 3rd one and he only counted one of them (had v v faint lines for two of them but a bfp on a digi for the 3rd) and said to come back if I have 2 more! He was doubtful about whether I would be seen if he referred me due to my age (43) and the fact that my partner and I already have a dd. What can I do to help myself? I've heard of people taking baby aspirin, vit B6 and progesterone but have no idea what would be relevant to me. Any advice welcome, time is of the essence!
PS Sorry for cross-posting, need as much help as poss!

Ok my situation is kinda similar but im in the states. I have had 2 chemicals the last 2 months and went to see the doc last friday. I already knew I was ovulating late but they did day 21 progesterone and I'm going back this week for day 3 fsh and lh. She is also referring me to a infertility specialist:thumbup:

I have 3 kids so I'm not sure why you having a dd makes a difference. I believe I would have to pay 50% for IVF but we wont go down that route.

Also in my family premature menopause is the norm, mum at 28, her mum at 27.

Have you used opks? If its a case of late ovulation/ low progesterone the treatment here is progesterone or clomid.

Hope any of this helps:flower::hugs:

Hi Hun

U need to go back to ur GP really so he can at least run some blood tests for ur progesterone and FSH etc. I had all mine done by the GP before i got referred to the fertility clinic. Those tests may show up something which can be looked at.
Im 43 and my GP had no problem referring me on so if urs wont then id suggest goin to another GP

Good luck xxx

mummy3- sorry for your losses, it really sucks. Doc reckoned that as me and oh have had a healthy pregnancy that shows that we can conceive together, altho I don't see how that's relevant to whats going on now. Have been using OPKs, ovulating cd14 in a 28 day cycle, bang on every month.
Fx for u x

Serendippy- thanks for that, think I'll call doc tomorrow. We keep bumping into each other don't we?!

:dust:

Thanks hun:flower:
Also, we tried the fertility predictor tests that you can buy, they measure fsh, maybe try one of them and see if its an egg supply problem. You can get them in the opk aisle:hugs:
