Help confused! *UPDATED*

Thanks ladies. I have used them for quite a while now, i first used them about 6months before conceiving our daughter as i had came off the pill and then have been using them for about 6 months this time too. Just to track my cycle my cycle length was long after having my daughter 39 days at one point and was ovulating around day24 or something. But it slowly settled back to 29-30days.
I agree i dont think it was hcg they were picking up as must have been too early. I usually only test around ovulation till i get a positive and then the day after to see its negative. And check cm etc. I only took them because this was our first month of trying and i was egar to poas lol. Like you say im guessing it was picking up some sort of hormone change?
I would also like to add that i get a range in colour of opks throughout my cycle really faint to really dark so im not one of there people who get a close to positive test all the time. X
