Help......horizontal line not vertical!!

Ladies I need your help, I've missed my pill quite a bit this month and I'm a week before my AF is due and I've been bleeding very lightly since yesterday lunchtime. At first I thought it was AF early but it hasn't got heavier and it's very very dark blood not red. I've got a pregnancy test in the cupboard (first response) and decided to do it.

A line appeared straight away in the test box. And in the other box a faint horizontal line appeared. I just went to take a pic but its vanished now. Does that mean anything?? It's meant to be vertical surely? I'm going to wait a week and if AF hasn't appeared ill do another but I don't kw what that line meant!!

It could have been dye run x

Yeah it sounds like it was just the dye running across in a funny way, especially if the line has now disappeared.

I've just googled and a lot of ppl are saying it's prob a dye leak and anything other than 2 verticals don't count.

I got excited then!!

Do you still have it to post a pic..? Btw, if the bleeding is implantation and not early af, then it would probably be a bit early to test anyway, whilst you're still actually bleeding- try again in a few days if you have a gut feeling that something's up! Oh I see you're in Bromley too! How local..I'm also south east, in Beckenham-ish area!

Thanks hun, ill see how the day pans out. It's prob unlikely I am because of the pill but because I missed a few I thought what if. Especially though because I'm not due on until Sat. Although the cramps are getting worse so knowing my luck it'll be early AF!! Considering coming off the pill next month now though as I didn't think I was ready for another yet but I'm disappointed now so I guess I am!

Very local I'm between Orpington and Bromley but not far at all, there's a couple of other local ladies floating about too.

ETA no pic though I was about to take one as I posted this and by then it had vanished!
