I'm going to start getting nappies soon as boots are doing a pampers jumbo promo for 2 boxes for £20 and asda's having their baby event too.
Now do I get more newborn sizes 1? or 2? I don't know? :S

You won't really know how big your LO will be until they are here, so your best bet would be to buy more NB nappies. Kenny was in NB nappies for about 6 weeks and then from 6 weeks - 12 weeks he was in size 1 nappies, then from 12 weeks onwards he's in size 2. I would get more NB and size 1 nappies because those are the ones you will use the most at first. :flower:

Ive got a load of newborn size 1 nappies.
they still go up to a large weight so figured theyd be best.
they have like newborn size one two and three then like another range in 1 2 3 and everything its soooo confusing :dohh:

You can't really tell, Ella's still in newborn size 1. It would be worth stocking up quite a bit thought because you get through so many.

do NOT buy alot of newborn, u never know ur baby's size and if u have a big baby like i did he/she will wear them for a week... me and other teen moms round here stuck to buying size 1,2,&3 because they will eventually fit in them, i would get one box of newborn (Aiden was 8lbs+ when he was born and to be honest he wore newborn maybe a week at his 2 week check up he was jst shy of 11 lbs and i was left with a ton of newborn diapers leftover!)

I personally didn't buy a whole bunch of diapers for two reasons.

1) My son was 9lbs and in newborn diapers for 2 weeks.
2) Huggies were the only brand that didn't give him a rash

I'm not going to go out and buy a whole wake load of diapers she wont be able to wear.

I didn't buy many nappies before Charlie was born, I had planned to stock up during all the baby events but looking at all the different sizes for different types just gave me a headache. I ended up using coupons that I had for different brands (the ones that you get in the bounty pack/emma's diary/signing up to baby clubs) to get small packs of them, as well as buying a few small packs of other sizes and I just tried loads of different ones. in the end I actually found that sainsbury's eco nappies were best for Charlie x

Ava is still in newborn size 1, I stocked up on size 2 though :dohh: xx
