Help! My husbands having performance anxiety!

This is also my third cycle and we had this problem the first month of TTC. Sorry if anything comes across as TMI here, but he couldn't keep it up, he wouldn't be able to 'get there', it was a disaster. I went to bed every night around O crying, and it put a big barrier between me and my HTB for the next few days. I felt like that months chance was gone (well it was), so we had to do something about it. I felt like we should have a talk so we did and he admitted he feels a huge pressure to get me pregnant and that it's his fault if it doesn't happen. 2 cycles ago I worked nights and he worked days so we had VERY limited time to DTD, it was becoming more like a chore that had to be done so I had to up my game to keep him in the 'zone' if you like, and we've not had this problem since. I'm no expert but my personal advice would be to reassure him that you're on this journey together & it happens when it happens, and to think of things to keep him connected on the same level as you without 'losing it' and not being able to perform. I know how deflating it is, I ovulate around cd21 and it seems like forever to come round each cycle so the last thing you want is to feel like a chance has been wasted :( x

-Ooooops!! Only just realised how old this post is
