Here is a place to VENT! No negative comments please.

nope, not a bad sign from what I know. I have spotted on every O day this year... wasn't spotting before but also wasn't ovulating.
I tend to spot 2 days before O which is likely related to the hormone surge.
Spotting on O day is more likely to be related to the egg bursting but might be related to hormones too.

lol, I mean the egg bursting free from the follicle... was too lazy to say all that, but you're right, it sounds bad :haha:

LMAO. Well I hope that meant something good for us because I have ewcm (plentY) and it was a little brown later in the day. Sorry for being so gross.

Hope you feel better soon hun

Hmmmm....I don't honestly know! I'm trying to google but my net is so slow at the minute because of the weather :(

Well googlequeen, I am feeling good. Thanks though. The reason I asked this is because when I ov'd, I was spotting a little on that day. IDK why though but was curious to ask now that I am reflecting back on the days.

It just seems like that should be your nickname. I feel like we are actually close, close friends. I am giving you nicknames and all. LOL.

I will let you know as soon as :D LOL quin that's quite good actually!!

My complaint is - it's been raining for over 24 hours and shows no signs of letting up, I'm almost 13 dpo and just want a positive test or a period (I hate this waiting!!) and my burger earlier tasted like cardboard.

Bleh!!

Oh and in jeans I've gone up a size! Not happy!

I'm not sure if you girls all know about this already, but I LOVE this site.

Soooo frustrated with my OB and am now looking for a new one!! She refuses to run any tests to tell if I'm even ovulating at all until we've been trying for 12 months. When I first saw her after we had been trying for a couple months, I told her it had been almost 4 months since my last AF and that I had always been irregular. Now that it's a regular 40+ day cycle, she still won't test. And to top it off, since we had take a one month break due to eye surgery I had to have, she's extending the 12 month period to 18 months!!! From what I've read the 12 month period is only for those with a regular 28 day (avg) cycle, if you're irregular your OB should be trying to figure out why especially if your ttc. Oh yeah, and she's pregnant after "trying for 2 months so [she] understands my frustration" (her words)!!!! Ummmm, No YOU Don't! Whew, I feel better already.:p

OMG I feel you!!! my pregnant friend tried for 5 months and told me she knew how I felt when I was at the 10 month mark!
DEFINITELY find another doctor! I do recommend if you can, seeing a fertility specialist as I had the best experience with mine and it was not nearly as expensive as I had feared it would be! Find a doctor, GYN or Specialist who LISTENS to you and explains things to you and only makes you do/try things you feel comfortable with!

And yes... the 12 month rule ONLY applies to girls with a regular cycle that seems totally normal. As soon as something seems wrong (cycle length, no ovulation on a BBT chart or OPK etc) you can get help! The only exception is if you recently came off a hormonal birth control. Depo they definitely make you wait a year.. BCP they usually make you wait at least 6 months, some will make you wait a year etc.. If you had Mirena like me, then fertility should have resumed immediately.

And FYI, I started seeing a PA... got switched to a GYN when the PA thought I might not be ovulating... GYN totally dismissed me and told me to wait a 'few cycles' when I wasn't having ANY... switched to a new GYN who was willing to put me on clomid right away but did no monitoring and wouldn't up the dose even when I showed my progesterone wasn't hitting normal ranges...... saw an FS, put me on the higher dose of clomid, full monitoring and got my BFP... (all of this in the past 8-9 months).... I do not for one second regret being so pushy!!

Girlies here is a chance from a rant... I am officially 13 dpo with no sign of af :) all could change in a few hours but I'm keeping the faith!

YAY!!! hoping it turns into a BFP for you!!!

I am looking into that right away!!! If I'm ovulating and everything looks okay, I don't mind trying longer. I've already been looking at other OB in my network, but I'm going to look into an FS asap. Before I even looked into it, I thought it was weird that she wasn't concerned about my missing AF. I can't thank you enough!!

Thanks girlies! Getting frustrated now as I just want to know!
