Highlights during pregnancy

Hi does anyone know from when is safe to have high lights during pregnancy? I believe during first few weeks it is not allowed

It's fine, colouring your hair is fine too although some say to wait till after the first trimester. Highlites are usually in foil anyway so it shouldn't actually touch the scalp. I'm a hairdresser =)

I had no idea it was a problem and had my hair done at 10 weeks. 15 weeks now and all ok. Maybe its just another thing to avoid in 1st tri????

It's a really old myth they don't use the same chemicals anymore so it is fine to have dye direct onto your scalp although you are better off doing a skin test first as hormones can affect how you react
