Hello mums as the title says really has anyone tried Hipp organic bedtime milk for 6 months plus??

LO is going to be 6 months at the end of the month and is bf but I saw this in the supermarket earlier and thought it looked quite nice for a bedtime drInk for him like a hot choco for me

Did your LO like it and did it actually help them to sleep??

Many thanks in advance xx

I bought it last week as I had a voucher. Tried two nights in a row and Darcey screamed place down! It's in the bin. She's not a fussy eater by any stretch of the imagination. The first night I thought she was getting frustrated as it wasn't coming out quick enough so I bought fast flow teats. Made no difference.

We tried it. He drunk it well even though it was VERY thick. It sparked off around ten days of tummy troubles for us though. The night he took it he was up screaming with wind most of the night. He was very windy for ten days afterwards and barely slept.

Could be a coincidence but I would never use it again.

DS used to be a one bottle at bedtime baby. We tried night time milk instead or normal formula about 10 months. It didn't help him sleep, but he must have liked it as when we moved him back to normal milk he started bottle refusing.

I tried my lo on it. She just ended up ridiculously frustrated. It's too thick even for a size 4 teat but she's not using a sippy cup yet. When I could get it in her she enjoyed it and she did sleep better. Now I give her some cereal mixed with her puree half an hour before bedtime bottle and it works just as well.

Used it with my first LO.

Gave him a bad bellyache and constipation as it was thick... Whichmade him sleep less! Ant be using with this LO.

We used at at 11 months til about 13 and worked fine for us. We always stayed on the first milk formula wise until swapping to cows milk because the stage 3 made my lo very windy and upset so maybe its fine if your little one tolerates follow on milk. I think the goodnight milk was ok because josh was fully weaned by then. It did make josh sleep better he went from 3 hours to 8 or 9

Same effect can be gained from simply giving baby a snack before bed. My Mum swore by it with her foster baby as he wasn't a good eater so it helped fill his tummy, but no such issues with my 2. Apparently it made a good fishing bait though
