Lo is almost 7 months, he took to food great at first, now, we are about 6 weeks in and he will only eat Ellas Kitchen pouches, the 4 months ones, Ellas kitchen porridge or Petit Filous yoghurts.

I bought a baby blender and at first i was making everything, but he'll only eat the pureed fruit, no veg puree and definately not anything with meat or fish in.

I tried Hipp jars, just to see if he'd have something different, but he wont even eat the 4 month ones. Although he ate one fine a few weeks ago.

Should i just go with it and try him with different things in a few weeks? He isnt a fan of finger foods, and has a meltdown if food is stuck to his fingers. But he loves some of my croissants and teacakes when we are out having a coffee.

I'd keep offering! Try toast then putting things on it, like cream cheese. Keep offering home made food, different jars and try the next stage Ella's kitchen. hopefully your lo will like other tastes soon :)

Could you mix your own veg and put a fruit in. Seen some weird combos with the Ella's kitchen such as pear and pea. May be a gentler way to get him used to the bitterness of veg. Sweet potato would be good to put with things too.

My lo started off on mainly ellas kitchen stuff till he could deal with lumps. I used to offer finger foods alongside spoon feeding the pouches and he eventually started to like my own cooking. He now prefers my stuff to the pouches and only has one very rarely.

Definitely keep offering. It took me a good while with lo to get her to eat lumpy foods but she's eat finger foods, I just had to persevere and we eventually got there.

Good luck x
