18 weeks was the same with imogen as well.

With Dewi I didnt feel a single BH, I was certain I had a fool of a uterus that didnt know what to do!

With Stanley I had a few in third tri, but nothing to bother me much.

Just found out that my friend who had to go see a specialist in London about her baby having some heart defects gave birth to an angel yesterday. A tiny baby boy.

I'm so sad for her, I feel awful.

I never had BH's with Kyle, but over the last week sex has given me painful BH's..

I've never had BH's with any of my 5 pregnancies! Although with this one I do seem to feel more uncomfortable and have made a few gasps as it moves. I guess that will only get worse in the next 8 weeks as it grows a little more!

Sorry to hear about your friend Chuck. I guess it's easy to take for granted how precious our babies are. I hope your friend is strong x

Poor girl was maybe 24 weeks along too, they only picked up on the abnormalities after they had to go back to a 2nd 20 week scan as baby was being naughty in the 1st one.

I don't believe in fate but sometimes things happen for a reason, baby made them go back and find the problem so at least they had some more time to try and come to terms with there being a problem rather then them not knowing until they realised something was wrong.

I've not had any Braxton hicks with either pregnancy that I've been aware of. Still waiting for some sort of twinge from this little one! My friend, who is due 5 days after me is having sporadic contractions

im not sure if ive had bh or not, maybe that means ive not as i might know if they were def bh iykwim. tummy goes hard and all that jazz but the pain is a circle of ow half way up bump rather than low down pain. or maybe my cervix is actually that high up!

had a gp appt today at 31w, apparently its supposed to be 25w tho. stupid lame ex mw. anyway, he used the wrong bp cuff and it was 140/90 for a while!! then he got off his ass and got the right one and it was 110/80... fundal height has shrunk from 33w at 28w to 31w at 31w. so riiiiight.... ignoring that then.

hope everyones well, i think im gonna buy a new la bassine as i cba trolling ebay any more. Ive saved money on other things so gonna just suck it up and buy new. managed to get an arms reach cosleeper for £50 - the seller and his wife both bought one on the same day randomly without telling each other so theyre selling the spare. oddness.

Ok ladies. Keep your fingers crossed for me. My doula, who is also a midwife thinks baby is head down now. I had a major meltdown last night, cried for a good hour, so she came over today for a chat. I said I thought it might have turned, and what did she think, and she agrees. I will have my midwife check tonight at our birth class but OMG, I really hope my baby has turned.

I have recently discovered there is a midwife in my area so I will be able to plan a homebirth! I am SO excited, and am going to a local homebirth/natural parenting meetup this Saturday! Yay for homebirth
