just watchin my two sleeping dudes and thinking way back to when i first met my OH...and just wondering how did u meet urs?

Was it love at first site, long friendship turned romantic, blind date....???

Mine i met when i was 20 and on a serious bender i had broken up with my 'first love' 5 mnths previously and was drinking like fish. I kept bumping into him in an local club (turns out he was on a rebound as well).we only knew each other as dancing man and dancing woman...and meet on the dance floor when ever they played The Proidgy. (can say i requested them alot) After a month of this we finally went on date...moved in with each other 3mnths later now 5yrs later married with one beautiful son and stupid dog and only ever spent one night apart. (damn hospitals)

Me and OH met when I was 10 and he was 12 at our local scout group. Were friends for ages and 7 years after we met we got together! X

My story makes me look bad lol I was with one of his roommates 8 yrs ago and we broke up 2 yrs later. OH and I lost touch (before he was my OH) and got in touch again last year in march, then I moved in the following month, and I fell pregnant in July. We expected it to take up to a year which is why we decided to start trying so soon but got pregnant the first month! I wouldn't change anything for the world, and it turns out he is a better match for me, and he wasnt and still isn't really a friend with his old roommate anyways. Win-win all around!

We met online when we were both about 16 messing about in chat rooms. Neither of us were looking for a date as we were still in school but we really fell for each other. This year is our 10 year anniversary and we've been married for 2 in august. x

We met at a friends house December '10, we were all drinking and he and I talked for 3-4 hours about music and all the things we had in common. He was in a really crappy long term on again off again relationship at the time... he broke up with his girlfriend and messaged me on FB one day and we started texting. We hung out for a whole weekend and that was that! He came to visit me at school every day and we were officially a couple at the end of February. Moved in together end of May... found out I was pregnant end of July! We couldn't be happier!

We got along so well, we became best friends pretty much immediately and decided to try dating about six months later because we weren't sure if we should stay friends or take it to the next level. After our first date (and first kiss ) we decided that we were definitely more than friends! Almost six years later it looks like we made the right choice.

Lol... Our story makes me sound like a nerd

DH and I met on... Wait for it... World of Warcraft when we were both 18 and to make the story even worse, DH is one of the worst trolls ever haha! He asked me a question, and because I couldn't help him he told me to "fuck off and stop wasting my time"

After that incident, it turned out we were actually in the same guild (kinda like an online group you join for anybody who doesn't know ). He was complaining about his ex, and I had split up with my ex a few months before so I joined in the bitch feat with him. We moved onto private chat on WoW and exchanged emails about a week later. We chatted on msn with webcam, and sent emails backwards and forwards. The dirt time we went on webcam I fell in love so I guess you could KINDA say it was love at first sight lol. He looked SO sexy! He was working as a croupier in a casino at the time and the uniform was a shirt, tie and waistcoat. He looked amazing!

I went to Birmingham (where he lived) to meet him in person 6 months after we first started talking (which retrospect wasn't the safest idea! :/), and after that he came to visit me and he just never left he went home a month later to get all his clothes and stuff and that was it, he moved into my Nan's house with me until we could afford rent on a house. Moved into our first place together when we were 19, got married a year later when we were 20 and started trying for a baby. Nearly 3 years later we are coming up for 3 years of marriage and we FINALLY have our gorgeous baby boy! Life is good

I know my story isn't exactly the most romantic, and it definitely isnt "happily ever after". All couples have their arguments lol. But I wouldn't change it for the world! He is my best friend, a fantastic husband and an amazing daddy. I love my two boys with all of my heart

I met my OH at the main bus station in Dublin in the taxi rank! No taxi ever came for ages and we were talking, talking, talking -- finally, I decided to walk home (about a 40 minute walk) and invited him to mine -- we were both too drunk (although the walk cleared my head, at least) for any one night stand and he rang me a day or two later for a proper date. It's now 10 and a half years later, married for 3+ years and have our LO!

I had a new job and was due to move away from home the Tuesday, it was the Friday night before and I had my leaving do with my mates. I got hideously drunk and the night club wouldn't let me in so I phoned my (then) boyfriend to come get me. While he was on his way I waited on a bench with my drunken friend, we were singing football Athens and I ripped my dress. Dh walked past and we got chatting, we swapped numbers and had a kiss. I met him for all of 20 mins, the next day I quit my job so I didn't have to leave and split up with my boyfriend. I knew in the 20 mins I met Dh that he was the one- the rest as they say is history.
