How do you pronounce Evelyn?

When I think of this name I think "Eve-lyn" but not even sure if that's correct, is it meant to be "Eve-a-lyn"???

I would pronounce it eve-lyn but i don't think it matters what the name is, someone will always mispronounce or misspell it, so go with what you like!

That's how we pronounce it . It really bugs me when people call her eve-lyn (including MIL ) even when we've told them it's not but pronounce it how you want to pronounce it!
