How long do you feed your baby pureed food?

I've been feeding him pureed veggies for 6 weeks now. When can you feed the baby a bit more solid food ?

we give Hannah a bit of both really, some purees and some soft finger type foods. Honestly she prefers the finger type foods to her purees
