How much can a cold affect bbt?

I have been charting so I can get an estimation of how my cycle works (I have PCOS and irregular AF...my last cycle was over 40 days).

From all the signs I was sure O was approaching...then I got a cold. My temp went up and has mostly stayed up for the last 3 days, but all my OPKs have been negative (been testing twice a day for the last 5 days or so, once a day before that).

The only thing indicating O has occurred is my temps...so I'm wondering if I already O'd and FF is right, or if my temp is up because I have a cold.

Has anyone had experience with charting and getting a cold?

I would say it could def. be from the cold. Def. keep OPK'ing!

Im no good at charts- it's my first month using a chart and all it really does is give me a headache... haha

Tell me about it! It seems so easy when you read up on how to chart your bbt, but in actuality there are so many things that affect it, and you can read too much into each daily temp and sign!

Now I have a headache too! :S
