Hi,

My little girl is 13 weeks old, drinking 3-4oz every 3hrs. She has been drinking this amount for a little over a month. Should this not be increased?

You could try and increasing it to see if she takes anymore but don't think you can force her to take more. What is her weight gain like?

I breastfed so have no idea what my little girl was taking at 13 weeks.

Hi,

I did a bit of Googling when I was unsure of the same thing when Ethan came home and it seems that 2-2.5 oz per lb of weight is what you should aim for; although my HV said that 3oz to every lb is more accurate - personally, I think you should go with whatever your little one will take and only worry if she's not gaining any weight :) x

Edit: sorry meant to say that this is over a 24 hour period - so if your baby weighs 7lb, you would aim to feed her at least 14oz in a 24 hour period.

Hi, remember all babies are different some don't need as much as others. My little man has been taking 3-4 oz 5 times a day from being about 4 months old he is almost 7 months old now and not willing to take extra. If your worried speak to your health visitor xx

Mine are 4 months old, and still just take 3-4 ounces at a time.
