How old were you?

My lil man was born one month before my 27th birthday. I wouldn't change a thing. He was planned, granted it took us a year to conceive, but I like the timing. We decided that both of us were old enough (DH was 30), and that we were financially stable enough to have a LO.

Just had my first at 34. I would have liked to have been a little younger, especially since we might want 2 children, but it is what it is....I met my husband at 29, we got married at 32 and now came baby!

I had my first at 17, my second at 36.
The first I was probably too young and the second I'm an older mum but I wouldn't change either for the world.

I'm feeling like an old mum reading this! I Had my first 2 weeks after my 33rd birthday and my second at 35. We were trying for 3 years though so would have liked to start a bit earlier. But we are financially very secure and my career is established. We've had lots of couple tone and travelled so we don't resent any family time at all.

I had my daughter at 30. I got married when I was 26 and I wanted to have a few years just us before having children. I really appreciate having hat time together now that we can't just go out for dinner at the drop of a hat.

I was 20 when I gave birth to him.
I turned 21, two weeks later.

I wouldn't change it. My husband is already 28 but since I'm still 21, I like being young and able to still be 'younger' when he's older. And still gives me a big window IF I ever want another.

Hello ladies, I have a 2 part question for you all...
First how old were you when you had your baby (or babies)
Second if you could would go back and have kids younger or older or the same age and why?

Thanks ladies!

First one at 29' this little guy at 40... I wouldn't change a thing. Two different marriages but if same partner closer together would be ideal, but lots of pros to further apart as well.

I had my first at 35. I don't regret waiting for a minute. I thoroughly enjoyed my 20's and was able to have a lot of fun and only worry about myself while I was really young. I was not ready for children until I was about 30, I was so selfish and really wasn't interested in having kids until I met my husband.

I was 28 when I had my little man and think this age was the right age for me! Love having him he's changed my life in the best possible way.

Had J when I was 17, wouldn't change the timing, but if I could go back I would listen to my instincts and burn every parenting manual in the bin :p was 19 when I had C, no regrets with him except not breast feeding.

First at 33, second at 35

Perfect time in my life for children.

Have a secure, well-paid job. Own a 3 bed home. In a long relationship. We have had years of partying and going out and holidaying etc so happy to cut down on that a bit!

Partying is so overrated. I must have matured so much earlier than most people cos I was starting to get bored with clubbing and I'd only been legal for a few months by the time I got pregnant. Was so happy to give it up :haha:

I have never experienced legal clubbing without being a mum lol xx

Everyone is different. I couldn't wait to have my freedom after leaving my parents house and not having to worry about anyone, but myself (so selfish). My mother had us young and she wishes she would have had a year to live by herself and not have gone from being a daughter, to a wife, to a mother.

I had her when I was 27, I wanted kids when I was younger as I only have one ovary and was scared I couldn't have them. Now I feel like Im getting too old and prob only have time for 1 one more

Got pregnant at 23, 1 month before turnin 24, had him at 24. My husband is 10.5 years older than me. I Think it was a perfect time.. I wouldn't change my age.. but this is our one and only. :)

Had my son the month after I turned 23 and my daughter when I was 25, would change a thing, was perfect timing for us xx

22 when I had my first and 25 when I had my second. I wouldn't change a thing.

I don't think it has anything to do with age really just where you are in life. I was almost 20 when I had my first oh 26 but we had been living together for 3 years so we knew how to run a home bills etc both had been working since 16 oh has a well paying job as a manager we had savings there wasn't anything in the way really, I probably would have learnt to drive first but that's not something im ready for even now and I always wanted to get married after children so theycan be part ofthe day. Which will happen next year and I will have 2 bridesmaids. It's all personal preference x
